Chrishaunda G. Baboolal

Chrishaunda Baboolal is an Associate at the Legal Consultancy having joined the firm in 2022.

Chrishaunda practices in areas of Commercial and Corporate, Insolvency & Receivership, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution.

Chrishaunda attended the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine until 2019, where she obtained her Bachelor of Law degree with Honours. Subsequently, she attended the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School until 2021 where she became a member of the Human Rights Committee. She participated in the programmes hosted by the Committee including charitable events to Children’s Homes and Homes for the Elderly. Chrishaunda also wrote an article entitled “A Unique Experience” which was published in the third issue of the Gavel.

Upon completion of her Legal Education Certificate, Chrishaunda was awarded the Council of Legal Education Chairman’s Prize. She was then called to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in November 2021.

Chrishaunda is heavily involved in the Firm’s Insolvency & Receivership practice including the development of proposals for insolvent entities pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Chrishaunda also maintains responsibilities for commercial and real estate transactions and acts as instructing attorney for the Firm’s litigation matters.
